OnePlus 2 finally starts getting Marshmallow update

We already know that OnePlus has been beta testing the OP2 Marshmallow update for over a couple of months now. If you recall, late last month, the company said that the official roll-out will begin within a couple of weeks. Now, inline with that time-frame, the final update has started hitting the device.

Rolling out as OxygenOS 3.0.2, the update – that brings along Android version 6.0.1 – was announced by OnePlus yesterday. It’s an an incremental rollout (like it’s usually the case), with the Chinese firm saying that all OP2 units will get the update in 48 hours.

Aside from the usual Marshmallow goodies, the update also includes some other features and enhancements – for the complete change-log, head to the Source link below. Here’s an important change that the company says is worth noting: The “update will clear your stored fingerprints. If you have fingerprint authentication set up, you will need to re-enroll again before use.”
